I used 32 rings for this "pumpkin." I strung wire through the rings and twisted it tight, put some Spanish moss down in the cavity, wrapped a rubber band around some cinnamon sticks for the "stem," and placed some fall potpourri around the top. I'm so glad I kept those damaged lid rings!
